Emma Cairns, Finance Analyst

Jamie Donachie, Production Manager

Emma joined Scottish Leather Group in August 2021 as a temporary administrator. What began as a short-term role quickly developed as she took on new responsibilities, progressing into a Scheduling Team Leader and later a Process Lead role. These opportunities allowed Emma to build her leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding our business.

She is now working as a Finance Analyst, bringing valuable operational knowledge into her role alongside developing strong financial expertise. Throughout her journey, Scottish Leather Group has supported Emma’s development by providing on‑site training and the flexibility to balance her role with studying for a degree in Business Management.

Emma is now preparing to begin her professional accounting exams, working towards becoming a fully qualified chartered accountant, while continuing to develop her career within the Group.

"Scottish Leather Group has given me the opportunity to grow my career in ways I hadn’t ever expected. The support, training and encouragement I’ve received have allowed me to continuously develop and take on new challenges."
