Multimedia Designer

Role Purpose

The Multimedia Designer will create and deliver high-quality multimedia content and assets, both print and digital, for the group and its supporting brands.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Design original content, including branding, illustrations, infographics and animations
  • Create new concepts and designs for use across all channels based on project briefs
  • Ensure that the creative brief is challenged when necessary and sets you and the team up to deliver first-class work
  • Work as part of the marketing team to ensure consistency of designs across a variety of media, adhering to brand guidelines
  • Support the creation of assets to use across our digital social platforms (LinkedIn and Twitter) and email newsletters (set up, layout, styling, and functionality) and various websites
  • Work as part of the marketing team to create materials including brochures, printed collateral, data sheets, case stories, presentation templates, and technical guides in line with brand guidelines.

 

Experience Required

  • A high level of creativity
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects or similar animation
  • Working knowledge of professional video editing software: Adobe Premiere or similar
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, creating external presentations for the commercial and customer-facing teams
  • Strong attention to detail across typography, design, and layout
  • Excellent proofreading skills, cross-checking spelling and grammar
  • Experience working with photography and videography to capture on-site assets for use across a variety of media
  • Strong organisational and priority-setting skills that enable multi-tasking on a range of projects
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the team and other departments
  • Knowledge of CMS and website design is a benefit but not essential.

 

Experience Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree or training/qualification in graphic design, digital design or a similar field
  • Experience of working in a similar role in graphic design, infographics, animation & motion graphics
  • A strong portfolio of relevant work to demonstrate creativity and skills
  • A solid background in graphic design, motion design and animation
