Brand Manager

Responsible for the management of the Bridge of Weir brand, working closely with the Sales, Marketing and Account Management teams to collectively support and deliver the brand’s commercial objectives.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and deliver the Bridge of Weir global brand strategy, creating and communicating a brand position which delivers competitive advantages for the market and resonates with key stakeholders.
  • Brand Insights: Establish a brand performance framework to monitor, measure and evaluate the Bridge of Weir brand, its markets and its key customers, in partnership with the Marketing & Insight Manager
  • Brand Marketing: Develop and deliver an annual brand marketing plan that dovetails with a 3-month fixed, 9-month rolling content plan that clearly shows to all stakeholders the marketing activities across all marketing and communications channels.
  • Brand Campaigns: Develop a program of long-term brand campaigns and short-term sales activations across all marketing and communications channels.
  • Brand Advocacy: Engage and inform Bridge of Weir colleagues, and the wider audience of Scottish Leather Group employees, to provide a clear understanding of the Bridge of Weir brand and, in turn, empower colleagues to act as brand advocates and champions.
  • Brand Governance: Responsible for implementing brand guidelines and maintaining brand standards for all brand usage and activation, both with internal stakeholders and external partners including agencies and customers.

 

Additional responsibilities

  • Agency Management: Manage agency partners (Brand & Marketing, PR, Digital) to ensure successful delivery of all campaigns. Focus on implementing and improving the briefing process, creative & content development, campaign execution and performance evaluation.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for managing the annual marketing budget, working with key stakeholders including Sales, Account Management and Finance to prepare forecasts and monthly reports.
  • Stakeholder Support: Act as a partner with internal stakeholders delivering and ensuring they have all the brand inputs needed and building the tools they need to make the brand grow.
  • Build Relationships: Build strong, trusted relationships with the Sales, Marketing, Accounts and Senior management to ensure Marketing and Sales organisations work closely together and are intimately aligned.

 

The Successful Applicant

The Brand Manager (Bridge of Weir Leather) will have a proven track record in a brand management role(s) working with international premium brands and:

  • Will exude a passion for working with premium and luxury brands from any number of sectors including, but not limited to, automotive, premium spirits, luxury goods and consumer electronics / technology.
  • Will possess significant B2B and / or B2C brand and marketing experience
  • Will possess the ability to form relationships, working with colleagues across multiple departments
  • Will have a hands-on approach with the entrepreneurial spirit to navigate a fast-growing and ever-changing business
  • Will be able to effectively communicate and influence
