  • Warehouse Manager

    The Warehouse Manager is the main point of contact for the SLG supply chain process. Working within LCD operations the Warehouse Manager is essentially responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage, distribution of internally required materials, and dispatch of finished products/materials. Ensuring that both the footprint and labour associated with the operation is maximised.

  • Senior Leather Technician

    Being a key role in the line management and leadership of the laboratory operations, the role of Senior Leather Technician is to ensure that the laboratory day-to-day operations, performance and delivery of a function to the business and service to customers (internal and external) which fully meets the related industry, commercial, customer, operations, production and development trials testing requirements.

  • Quality Technician (Rotational)

    Being part of the Quality and Laboratory Team, the role of Quality Technician is to be responsible for the monitoring of hide, leather, and cut-part quality to ensure that it meets prescribed standards and supplying data to illustrate performance. This role will require close collaboration with our production operations, technical teams, associated quality and laboratory functions, sales and account management teams, and customers to ensure the delivery of a robust quality control system.

  • Nightshift Team Leader

    The Rollercoat and Spray Team Leader is responsible for the safe operation of a spray or rollercoat line and overseeing the team working on that operation. The Team Leader should maintain regular and effective communication with the team, ensuring that all operational and housekeeping tasks are completed daily, which will support and maintain quality and workplace organisation standards. In addition, the Team Leader will work closely with the Colour and Quality teams to ensure that the coatings applied to the hides are correct and within specification for customers.

  • Fat Plant/AL2 Operator

    Play a key role in the successful operation of the Thermal Energy Plant by running the Fat Plant, dealing with the flesh waste, monitoring silo, chemical, and power levels, and maintaining all equipment necessary for waste treatment. In addition, ensure that the AL2 operations are followed effectively.

  • Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    To contribute and drive the continuous improvement of all maintenance activities to ensure plant efficiency is kept to an optimum level at all times. To ensure that all electrical maintenance needs are met or exceeded to the level set by the Engineering Manager and partake in all improvement initiatives where applicable. To react promptly and efficiently to all breakdown requirements when required.

  • Customer and Production Coordinator

    The coordinator will have responsibility for handling the external and internal order demands for the cutting operation. In conjunction with the cutting manager and supervisors the coordinator will agree and communicate production schedules, as appropriate. The coordinator will also schedule hide orders internally on mainstream production systems/processes and finally ensure that all cut part/cut kits invoicing and shipping are coordinated as per the customer requirement.

    Being part of the Technical team, as a Senior Leather Technologist for wet processes, you will play a key role in the development of new products/processes and chemistry for strategic targets, meeting time and price expectations and exceeding customer expectations. You will display safety first, “best-in-class” technical expertise, engaging with cross-functional teams, helping with an environment that supports the exploration of continuous improvement that ensures we meet our manufacturing and sustainability ambitions.

  • Technical Assistant

    To support the Technical team to deliver the departmental strategy regarding product and process development and sample production. You will play a key role as the link between wet end and finish activities to ensure all relevant goals are met. You will take a proactive approach in all tasks that are required, using effective communication skills to nurture internal inter-department relationships to assist in the delivery of product/process development projects and customer samples.
