W. J. & W. Lang are leaders in CO2 gas deliming in the United Kingdom and have installed a turn-key bulk gas deliming system. This has considerably reduced ammonia emmisions to the atmosphere and to the effluent stream.

At W. J. & W. Lang, we have implemented an Environmental Management System to continuously improve our environment, but also to ensure that our long term viability is assured.

By regular analysis of our effluent stream throughout the day, we maintain control of effluent discharge in order to achieve compliance with our consent limits.

Efficiency of our effluent plant is closely monitored by computer.

Our ultimate aim is to have our processing liquors treated to a sufficiently high standard, that they are capable of being returned to their original source.
