Bridge of Weir leather is subject to rigorous and accredited quality control management. Much of the testing is carried out in our on-site purpose built research facilities.
Testing is carried out on the following properties:

* Wet and Dry Rub Resistance
* Light Fastness
* Fogging
* Flammability
Due to the specific requirements of individual customers there is no one single definitive specification, rather the final specification is determined by the requirements of the end user. However, our technical specifications will routinely encompass or conform to the following standards and requirements:

* BS 5852 (Schedule 4 Part 1 Cigarette test)
